How To Stop Drowning In Overwhelm As A Coach

Here is the ONE productive task to remove overwhelm from your life as a Muslimah coach or consultant.

I was in conversation with one of my clients on writing her authority book and the chat led to talking about her overwhelm.

She said she works on weekends and probably through the week leaving little room for recovery and play. She said she felt overwhelmed. This brought the talk to work timetable.

You see, I've worked with coaches who taught me to create a work timetable as well as a home timetable to manage my time productively.

When I started coaching, I didn't have one, hence I was working through the week. After creating a work timetable, I was able to start working 5 times every week while leaving the weekends for my personal stuff.

However, after realizing that I needed to also have a chilling day where I do things that take my fancy or make me relax, I decided to shorten the weekday work to 4 times every week making Friday an off-work day for my "me day."

Having this day in place helped me to focus more on work since I know that I get to have a date with me at the end of the week. 😉

The client was happy to give creating her work timetable a go. I pray that it helps her to overcome the overwhelm.

Here's what my work and home timetables roughly look like;

Monday to Thursday: Office work - 10am to 4pm. With 1pm and 4pm planned around solah.

Friday: Me day.

Saturday: House chores + family.

Sunday: Family + plan for the new week.

I plan Monday to Thursday according to the weekly work demand. I get my work done earlier than 4pm some days.

You can further breakdown each work day into;

  • Sales calls/prospecting
  • Content creation
  • Personal development courses
  • Client management etc

Do you have a work timetable as a Muslimah coach or consultant? If not, it's time to create one to avoid burnout as it is REAL.
